InterpolAI is a deep learning-based tool that allows for advanced image analysis on biomedical images to help with 3D tissue mapping. Specifically, this tool is able to perform optical flow interpolation and restoration of biomedical images. This is a python-based tool that creates a deep learning model and helps bridge the gap between the large-scale data being collected and the types of analysis needed to be done on 3D tissue imaging. InterpolAI outperforms both linear interpolation and state-of-the-art optical flow-based method XVFI, preserving microanatomical features and cell counts, and image contrast, variance, and luminance. InterpolAI repairs tissue damage and reduces stitching artifacts.
