I am a postdoctoral fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, studying how mechanical force influences cancer plasticity. As a new co-chair, I am looking forward to highlighting the latest cutting edge research in cancer mechanobiology from this community!
– Miranda Hunter, Postdoctoral Fellow, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
My research focuses on mechanoevolution and selection in cancer. As a junior investigator and new member of the PS-ON community, I found the Cell & Tissue Mechanics Special Interest Group to be an excellent medium to engage with and contribute to the broader cancer biology community. I am excited to work alongside Miranda to build a speaker series that highlights researchers working at the intersections of biology, technology, and immunology. The goal is to create a space for sharing recent advances, discussing key challenges, and identifying opportunities where cross-disciplinary perspectives can spark new ideas and collaborations.
