From its launch, the Data Manager Operations Group has been led by Aditi Gopalan, Bioinformatics Engineer in the MC2 Center Team. We are so excited to announce this group’s next stage, as it transitions to community leadership.
I am honored to serve as Co-Chair of the Data Manager Operations Group, and I look forward to contributing to our community’s ongoing success. In the year ahead, we are particularly excited to foster interdisciplinary collaborations, advance scalable data-sharing strategies, and host a thematic seminar series. My research integrates computational tools and multiomic data to explore the spatio-temporal interactions between tumor and its microenvironment. I can’t wait to learn from and work alongside all of you!

I’m thrilled to serve as Co-Chair of the Data Manager Operations Group, helping to contribute to ongoing efforts in data management, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and help shape strategies for effective and scalable data sharing across studies. In the coming year, we aim to initiate new collaborative projects, support grant development, and organize a seminar series around these themes. My research focuses on the intersection of repetitive elements, tumor evolution, and immune modulation, leveraging computational tools and multi-omic data. I’m eager to learn from the broader community and contribute to the important work already underway.
